Designed by Architects Haluk Tümay & Ayhan Böke this twin tower complex has a total construction area of 107.000 sqm and consists of a 39 storey (158 mt.) and a 34 (140 mt.) storey office blocks each having 850 sqm typical floor area. In each tower, the office spaces are arranged on both sides of the structural core. An impressive entrance canopy connects the twin towers under a transparent steel structure.
Each tower has 5 basement floors in common incorporating underground car park, vault rooms, 2 cafeterias serving 2200 employees, 6000 sqm. data processing center for Akbank and Sabancı Holding and annexes on ground floor housing conference hall for 750 person and a branch bank. VIP dining floors are located on the top of the towers overlooking the skyline of Bosphorus. Sabancı Center is the first intelligent building in Turkey, which monitors and controlls the systems electronically. This system allows the harmonious function of highly complex and inter-related systems which provides building surveillance and security, access control, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire alarm and fire fighting system, power supply, lighting control, communications and lift operation.
The office towers are cladded with Rosa Beta granite and the podium level is ornamented with Napoleon Red stripes. The fassade consists of blue reflective solar glazing with powder painted aluminum curtainwall.
